National Network Parent Carer Forum (NNPCF) annual conference

Both Kenton and Lisa were able to attend the 2-day annual NNPCF/CONTACT conference which was hosted in Manchester for the first time in November 2017– after six years of being held in London.

The first day was a chance to network with other forums and hear about good practice and the second day had a number of keynote speakers. Please read the joint bulletin for more information. The Minister confirmed two more years of funding for Parent Carer Forums. And the NNPCF announced that it will be changing it’s structure to be one of a Community Interest Company (CIC) following a ballot of members.

At HI we continue to be a member of the North East London Cluster, which is our regional network for linking to the NNPCF.
